About Us
SET was established in September 2002 as a not-for-profit, welfare organization by a few of the retired PAF Officers at Lahore. It aims to empower the less privileged youth – with limited education – by providing FREE I.T based vocational training, followed by finding suitable employment for them by in-house job placement cell.
SET is registered with the Social Welfare Department of the Govt Punjab. Donations to SET are TAX-exempt
SET was accreditted by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) as well as by the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). SET is also registered with Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab & Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) for testing and certification. SET is supported by PWTD (Punjab Welfare Trust For Disabled) to provide I.T. based skill Training for the Hearing Impaired youth.
Recently set has also been registered with punjab govt charity commission—it is in the process of registering with PSDA
