About Us

Society for Education & Technology was established as a welfare organization in 2002 by a few PAF retired officers at Lahore. It aims to empower the less privileged youth through vocational training enabling them to stand on their own. SET is registered by the Social Welfare Department of Punjab. Donations of SET are “TAX-Exempt”. SET arranges certification by Trade Testing Board (T.T.B) and Skill Development Council (SDC). They examined independently their after-job Placement Cell helps successful trainees in finding suitable employment. To to-date, over 4500 students have been qualified. SET is accredited by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP), as well as by NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical Training Commission). SET is also registered with the Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Government of Punjab.
